Senior Psychologist

We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Child, Youth and Family Psychologist to join our team at Kids Inspired!

What we are looking for in our new Senior Psychologist:

  • Passionate about working as part of a team and seeking a permanent part time time position. Hours to be across 3-4 days per week to include Tuesdays (minimum mornings), Thursdays (to include finish at 6pm) and Fridays.

  • Demonstrated experience working with children and/or adolescents with varying presentations of mental health and neurodevelopmental conditions.

  • Passionate about working therapeutically from a neurodiversity affirming perspective, with significant knowledge and experience of working with a variety of neurodivergent presentations, especially PDAers.

  • Experience in administering cognitive, learning, and behavioural/developmental assessments with a high quality of written diagnostic reports would be an asset.

  • Full Psychologist Registration with AHPRA and approved Medicare Provider status. 

  • Senior Psychologist role requires a minimum of 8 years experience, with Board Approved Supervisor status (or willingness to obtain). Consideration may be given to Psychologists with 6+ years experience who are keen to develop these skills, opportunities for training and development will be available.

  • Current Working With Children's Check and Police Check.

  • NSW Drivers Licence and access to your own car. This role will be predominately facilitating therapy in our centre at Kirrawee, however there may be some occasions whereby assessment/therapy in pre-schools and schools (no home-based therapy) is provided.

  • Senior Clinicians will have a maximum of 4-5 client sessions per day, with additional hours allocated to senior clinician responsibilities such as providing supervision, reading over reports and case notes etc.

  • All full time therapists receive one non-client day per fortnightly schedule - work from home (part-time therapists also receive additional work from home hours - based on their contracted in-clinic hours).
