School Readiness

What is a School Readiness Group?
Getting ready for school is an important milestone in our little ones’ life and it requires a strong foundation to help children start this amazing journey of learning.
School readiness is not all about academics. We recognise that children up to seven years old learn best through play, and that more important than skill development is their development of social and emotional wellbeing, which is needed to be an active and positive learner.
At Kids Inspired, the School Readiness Program is expanded for our pre-schoolers in their final year before school to ensure that they are given the maximum opportunities to learn new skills, as well as refine existing abilities.
The following skills are addressed in the program through fun and creative activities:
Fine motor skills
Gross motor skills
Self Help skills
Listening skills
Social skills (turn-taking & sharing)
Group programs are limited to a maximum 6 students.
Each group program runs across three days and students are required to commit to attend all three days.
The school readiness programs are facilitated by our allied health therapists.

We are now taking confirmed bookings for the following groups - please note, some students have already provided their expression of interest for dates of preference so there may be limited spots available in some groups. If you have already provided your EOI, please note that we have reserved that spot, but request your confirmation completing this online form and a service agreement will be sent through the week.
The groups require a minimum of 3 students to proceed, with a maximum of 6 students per group.
Students are to attend all three days of the group program. Total cost for the program is $675.00 including materials (students to bring their own morning tea - no nuts products).
Tuesday 14th, Wednesday 15th and Thursday 16th January 9am-11am
Tuesday 21st, Wednesday 22nd and Thursday 23rd January 9am-11am (2 spots available)
Tuesday 28th, Wednesday 29th and Thursday 30th January 9am-11am (4 spots available)
