Join our Team! Speech Pathologist Position at Kids Inspired.

We are SO excited about our plans for Kids Inspired in 2019. We are welcoming a new Therapy Assistant at the end of January, and now on the look out for a fun and creative Speech Pathologist to join our team!

As our practice purely works with children and young people, with a specific focus on Autism Spectrum, communication and social-emotional learning deficits, we are looking for a Speech Pathologist who has experience and an interest in these areas. This position is open to new graduates with placement experience.

As part of this role, services will be provided in our centre, with some external visits to schools and pre-schools in the local area of the Sutherland Shire, so own car and clean NSW drivers license is essential.

Whilst we do have a focus on AS, we will also offer varied caseload from early childhood up to 18 years of age, and there will be the ability to develop/specialise in other areas of interest within this age range. This position is part of a growing, multi-disciplinary team, and clinical supervision will be provided as part of this role. Personal development opportunities will also be available.

Essential Criteria

Bachelor of Speech Pathology (or equivalent)
Current Membership SPA Australia
A Working with Children Check
Current drivers licence and own car
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
Confidence in working with different team members, families, schools and diverse abilities.
Demonstrated time management and organisation skills
Ability to work both independently and as an effective team member.
